Ronaldo Souza Views Chris Weidman Fight At UFC 230 As Rematch

Ronaldo Souza calls out on the reason that he sees his up and coming battle against Chris Weidman in a middleweight session as a rematch. This will fill in as the co-main event of the UFC 230 pay-per-see occasion.

Souza went on record in an ongoing meeting by saying that Weidman has beaten a few Brazilians in the course of recent years. This includes an individual factor come battle night.

Weidman topped any semblance of Anderson Silva (twice), Vitor Belfort, Lyoto Machida, and Demian Maia. Therefore, he supposes a win here gets some requital on Weidman:

"I have immense regard for Chris Weidman. I like him as a man and as a competitor, yet I consider it to be a rematch. I feel like he had officially crushed me previously," Souza revealed to MMA Fighting. "He has crushed many (Brazilians). I'm going there like in the event that he had vanquished me too. I never lose twice to a similar individual, so I'm exceptionally sure."

Souza trusts that once he beats Weidman, he'll be in the lucky position of battling just for the title:

"It's something normal for me," Souza said. "Whoever wins will be up there. That's true and I don't have to speak excessively about it. I need to go up (in the positioning). I need to get in there, win — and win convincingly. At that point say 'sibling, I'll take a seat and just call me in case you will discuss the belt.'

Souza is falling off a part choice misfortune to Kelvin Gastelum in May. He is hoping to return to his triumphant courses in the wake of going 2-2 in his last four battles. He trusts the current condition of the UFC middleweight shred will enable him to return to the best:

"Every other person is harmed, there's nobody else to battle. My attention is on this battle (with Weidman), obviously, however everyone realizes that this battle will take me up there."

Souza had been on the cusp of a UFC title shot previously yet endured a TKO misfortune to current middleweight champion Robert Whittaker last April. The misfortune caused the rollercoaster ride that he's been on since.

"My battle with Kelvin Gastelum was close, I could have gotten the win," Souza said. "My non-verbal communication was strange in the third round and could have made a difference for the judges. I comprehend that, yet I landed more strikes. I beat (Yoel) Romero. Each time my battle is close, I lose. I need to go there and win, and win no doubt. I can't only sort of win."

The UFC 230 pay-per-see occasion is set to happen on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, New York City with the primary card airing on pay-per-see at 10 p.m. ET.
